Bespoke Horse Portrait Framing
Thank you for visiting my bespoke horse portraits framing section. I have a lovely local framer called Jane, who has a wide array of mouldings and is always happy to work with me to choose something extra special for my clients.
I
have added a variety of my previous commissions framed to give you an idea of the kind of mouldings that are popular. If you let me know the kind of frames that you have in your home, I can show you a variety of examples that I feel would suit your portrait and your needs. If you would like to see more previous commissions that both Melanie and I have had framed, please visit our pet portraits framing section on our main website. If you would like any help choosing your frames please don't hesitate to email us at any time. |

Gold Dots
A thinner rebate moulding, this works well for larger oils and all pencil drawings. A beautiful gold colour with decorative bluish tinges with gold dots around the edges. |
|
Charcoal Wenge
This is a lovely rich charcoal brown moulding which suits lighter backgrounds and darkish coloured horses. An understated and perfect frame for my horse portraits. |

Traditional Flat
This moulding is a very large moulding and suits all of our larger sizes oil paintings, those that are 20 x 30 and above. It is an exceptional quality frame and would look stunning on the wall in all home decors |
|
Traditional Flat
The traditional flat moulding (seen left and above) is suitable for displaying a plaque on the frame. I work closely with a hand engraving company in UK who can engrave any text your require. |

Tan Line (Large & Small)
This moulding, comes in two sizes, large and small so it works well with all of my oil paintings. A deep rebate frame covering the depth of the canvas in its entirety, this is a mid to dark brown moulding with a light line on both edges. |

National Gallery Gold
This is a superior, high quality moudling which works very well with dark backrounds. This is the kind of moulding that you would find in a gallery. The gold colour is very understated and the dark flecks give a very antique feel. |

Silver Line Large
This moulding has many versions - silver large, silver small and gold large and gold small. The same design in different sizes and colours. Silver frames work well with white horses as you can see from the image above. |
|
Subtle Bronze
A high quality, well made moulding, with a bronze style mottled band in the center, edged both sides by black which finishes this moulding off beautifully. Works well with mid sized oil paintings and all sizes of pencil drawings. |
