Ordering Information
Initial Contact
The first step is sending your photos and letting us know a little about your requirements. You can email your photos or upload them via our online form opn our mail website or mail them to us on cd.
Composites
Once we have discussed your needs and received your photos we will create you a composite of how your portrait could look. This often helps clients to decide which medium they would like and also if there is more than one pet in the scene we can make sure the size relationships are correct between each pet and decide on background choices etc. You might like to read our portraits case study on our main website to get a better idea of the process.
Making Payment
Once we have decided upon the composite, payment can be made in our Pet Portraits Shop. We offer two payment providers, one RBSWorldpay and the second paypal. We have integrated a professional shopping cart in conjunction with rbsWorldpay and paypal so clients can choose which they would prefer to pay with. Both payment providers are equally secure and this means you can be safe in the knowledge that your card and transaction is safe and secure. If you are unsure of which portrait to order, but you would like to secure a place in our portrait waiting list, then simply make a deposit and we can discuss your needs in the knowledge your slot is safe.

Timescale's
Both Nick and myself are currently working to a 15 week timetable and we work on a first come first served basis. We provide gift vouchers and gift webpages for those who would like to give a portrait as a gift for a special date if we are unable to meet your deadline.
Portraits Progress
All clients are able to view their portraits progress on our Work In Progress Blog which can be viewed at all times from our top navigation. We will email when your portrait has been started so you can watch its development and you can comment on the blog about the painting or drawing at any time.
Stages are uploaded for you to see and sometimes for the larger oils we create a flash slide show at the end so you can see the steps together. We sometimes have photos of us painting and short video clips of the painting in progress too.
Traditional Painting Methods
Both Nick and myself have completed all of the paintings and drawings you see on this website. None of our work is mass produced or sent to Asia. We paint in the traditional sense with brush and canvas or pencil and paper, and none of the work you see is digitally produced.
Portraits Final Scan
To ensure that every client is 100% happy with their portrait before its shipped, we provide a high resolution watermarked version for their approval. This image is emailed to the client and any amendments / alterations can be made, before we send the portrait out.
Delivery
The cost of the portrait does not include delivery. Due to the time spent on each drawing and painting and the value of each portrait, we have tried and tested many delivery methods. We feel we have come up with the most safe and secure way of sending our portraits worldwide. We use a professional Courier company who take great care of the artwork in transit. This, coupled with our years of experience in packaging our portraits, means we are confident that your portrait will arrive to you in a matter of 2 to 3 days in pristine condition. For further information please visit our delivery information page.
